MEMPHIS - This one should've been called at halftime.

The passing tandem of Joe Germaine and David Boston butchered the Arkansas defense, and the Razorbacks simply looked outmanned in falling to No. 3 Ohio State, 41-0, in the Liberty Bowl.

The Buckeyes, ranked No. 1 all season before a stunning late loss to Michigan State, advance to next week's Citrus Bowl against Virginia. The Cavaliers stunned UCLA in the Holiday Bowl.

Everything the Buckeyes tried against the Hogs worked. Germaine threw for 304 yards and two TDs, completing 22-of-30 passes. Boston (127 yds. receiving) was his favorite target. OSU RB Michael Wiley also got in on the fun, with 77 yards and a touchdown.

The Buckeyes led 21-0 at halftime, going for the kill from the first play: a 38-yard pass from Germaine to Boston that put OSU in Arkansas territory for the first of many times.

Meanwhile, Arkansas QB Clint Stoerner's day was a disaster. He threw for just 130 yards, completing 17-of-40 passes with no TDs and three picks.

And as Stoerner went, so went the Hogs. They were outgained 458-189, turned the ball over three times, earned just 15 first downs and never really had a chance.
