 Clarke Central's Scruggs signs with Shorter track Rome, Ga. - Terence Scruggs will add his name to the impressive track and field roster at Shorter College, as he signed with the team for the 2008-09 school year on Tuesday afternoon. Scruggs, a senior at Clarke Central High School in Athens, Ga., capped his high school career by winning the Class AAAA title in the 300-meter hurdles at the Georgia Olympics in Jefferson, helping his team to a fourth place finish. He also finished third at state in the 110 hurdles and was the anchor for Clarke Central's 4X400 relay team, which also finished third.
