Borbas is entering his fourth season as an assistant for the Bulldogs. He assists in running practices and coordinating team travel.
Prior to coming to Yale, he spent 12 seasons coaching high school and club volleyball in Connecticut. He coached Crosby High School in Waterbury from 1994-2001, helping Crosby qualify for its first ever state playoff tournament in 1998, then again in 2001.
Borbas joined the Connecticut Junior Volleyball Association in 1994 as both a coach and assistant director, managing the club's elite girls travel program. His 2006 team, the Connecticut Juniors-18 Blue Panthers captured the New England Regional 18-under championship.
He is a member of the Connecticut High School Coaches Association, American Volleyball Coaches Association, and USA Volleyball, in which he is C.A.P. certified. He is a graduate of the University of New Haven.
