The Elis sent a number of their distance runners to the adidas Raleigh Relays, hosted by NC State. Cara Kiernan finished 11th in the 5000-meter run, while Katie McKinstry took home 10th in the 10000-meter.
Kiernan's 11th place finish was out of 67 competitors in the 5000-meter run, where she ran a time of 16:43.52. Teammate Alex Sawicki earned 38th overall with a time of 17:22.65, while Emily Vince and Nadia Sawicki rounded out Yale's entrants in the race, finishing 46th and 56th overall.
In the 10000 meter run, McKinstry--the only Yale entry in the race--ran a time of 36:58.49 to place 10th out of 38 runners.
The adidas Raleigh Relays continue today.
