NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Second-place finishes from Lindsay Donaldson (4:49.23 in the mile) and Ashley Nolet (3.60m in the pole vault) highlighted Yale's performance at the Giegengack Invitational, which concluded Saturday at Coxe Cage.
A pair of Yale relay teams posted ECAC qualifying times. Yale's distance medley relay team finished third (11:50.58), while the 4x400-meter relay team was fourth (3:52.48).
Yale had a number of individuals post ECAC qualifying times as well, including a pair in the 3000-meter run. Allyson Rinderle (5th, 9:50.54) and Katie Dewitt (7th, 9:58.45). Also qualifying were Claudia Duncan (fourth in the 500-meter dash, 1:15.82) and Meredith Leenhouts (fifth in the 800-meter run, 2:14.08).
Katrina Castille added a fifth-place finish in the 60-meter dash (7.85).
Yale travels to Princeton next weekend for H-Y-Ps.
