Sophomore Alina Liao earned the ECAC's Gymnast of the Week award, after a solid performance this past weekend at home against Southern Connecticut. Liao posted career highs of 9.775 on floor and 38.475 in the all-around.

Liao had her highest scores of the season on the other three events as well. She placed second on floor, placed third on vault with a 9.45, and won bars (9.575) and beam (9.675). She was also the all-around champion.

Yale won the dual meet, 189.775 to 180.7. The team has another home meet coming up on Saturday, Feb. 17 against URI. Competition starts in the John J. Lee Amphiteather at 1pm.
