Reed Mauser earned Yale's top individual finish at the Terrier Classic, placing second in the 1K run. Yale's 4x800 relay team also grabbed a second place standing in the meet, held at Boston University.
Mauser finished in 2:27.28 in the 1K. Teammate Taylor Matthews ran to a fourth place finish with a time of 2:28.92.
Two of Yale's relay teams had strong showings, with the 4x400 squad finishing fourth in 3:14.34 and the 4x800 running to a 7:45.71 time, good for second place.
In the field events, Jihad Beauchman came in fourth with a high jump of 2.03 meters.
Yale travels to Ithaca to take on Cornell and Army next weekend.
