Jack Hutchinson comes from the Philadelphia area where he grew up swimming for the Upper Main Line YMCA and Conestoga High School. Jack played soccer and ran in addition to swimming in high school, and still counts music, Frisbee and surfing as his favorite pastimes.

At Yale, Jack swims the freestyle events along with the 400 IM. He counts his teammates at Yale among his closest friends and thoroughly enjoys the privilege of competing for this successful and storied program.
