NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Yale dropped only three games overall en route to a 9-0 win over Amherst Wednesday night at the Brady Squash Center. Nick Chirls, playing at No. 1 for the first time this season, led the way with a 9-3, 9-3, 9-0 win over Drew Blacker.

The Bulldogs worked four freshmen into the lineup, including Francis Johnson at No. 5. He posted a 9-7, 9-4, 9-4 win over Gautam Kalani. Yale's other three freshmen, Colin Campbell, Billy Hatch and Ethan Oetter, also won 3-0.

Yale returns to action at Brown Saturday at Noon.
