Providence, RI - Steve Gray carded a 143 and was the individual medalist at the New England Division I Golf Championship, which concluded Sunday at Triggs Memorial Golf Course. The Bulldogs placed fourth as a team with a 617 while host Rhode Island topped the 13-team field with a 593.

Gray bested URI's Jason Pannone and Binghamton's Zachary Vinal by two strokes, shooting a 1-over par 73 on Sunday after a 2-under par 70 on Saturday. Rick Reissman shot a 74 Sunday, the third-best round by a Bulldog, and finished tied for 10th overall at 151. Mark Matza (158), Joe Hernandez (165) and Andrew Denenberg (173) rounded out the field for the Elis.
