CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University volleyball team received nine votes in the latest version of the AVCA/USA Today Top 25 Coaches Poll released Monday.

The Musketeers (23-3, 13-3 A-10) have been named on two or more ballots on two occasions this season. The first came on Oct. 29 when XU made its first ever appearance on the weekly AVCA/USA Today Top 25 Coaches Poll.

Xavier is joined on the poll by Louisville (six votes) and Cincinnati (three votes) who they will play on Nov. 23 and 24 respectively in the C-USA/A-10 Challenge at the University of Louisville.

Also named on the poll was Dayton who will host the Atlantic 10 Championships this weekend with matches on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and the Conference Championship Match on Sunday at 1 p.m. On Saturday, Xavier will take on Rhode Island in the 3:30 p.m. match.
