PHILADELPHIA - Freshman outside hitter Danielle Skrajewski was named Atlantic 10 Volleyball Rookie of the Week after leading Xavier to its first two-match A-10 sweep of the season.

Skrajewski posted a double-double with 14 kills and a team-best 20 digs to go along with four blocks in a 3-2 win over George Washington on Friday. She followed up that performance with a near double-double against Duquesne on Saturday. Skrajewski had 10 kills, nine digs and three blocks in the Musketeers 3-1 win over the Dukes. She finished the week with 3.2 digs per game and 2.67 kills per game.

Skrajewski shares this week's honor with Dayton's Faye Barhorst. The Musketeers host the Flyers on Tuesday at Cintas Center beginning at 7 p.m. All fans who donate a canned food item at the door will receive a reduced ticket price. Adults will be admitted for $3 and children 17 and under will be admitted for just $1. All donations will benefit the Free Store Food Bank of Greater Cincinnati.
