Women's Golf Finishes Fourth in CAA Championship

MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – The Xavier women’s golf team finished fourth in the CAA Championships. As the team, the Musketeers shot a final round of 313 giving them a tournament total of 949.

Junior Sarah Sparks shot a 79 in her final round of play to finish the tournament with a total of 236. Sarah tied for seventh with Lindsey Wagner of William and Mary.

Freshman Kara Manis finished 12th in the tournament after shooting a 79 in her final round. Kara’s three round total was 239.

Freshman Kathleen Hardy finished tied for 13th with a 240, one stroke behind Manis. Hardy shot a 79 in her final round.

Senior Jill Stein shot a 76 in her final round to finish with a total 241. Stein finished the tournament in 16th.

Junior Abby Fowler rounds out the Xavier field finishing 17th. Fowler shot an 81 today to finish with a three round total of 242.

The CAA Championship was the last tournament for the Musketeers this season.
