CINCINNATI – Xavier senior guard Amy Waugh will be among the participants at ESPN’s College Slam Dunk and Three Point Championships on Thursday in New Orleans.

Waugh will compete against other women’s college basketball seniors in a three-point shooting contest at the Alario Center. This past season, Waugh led the nation with 3.6 threes per game and set the Xavier single season record by connecting on 107 triples.

This marks the second time in three years that Xavier has had a player in the event. Two years ago, Nicole Levandusky took part in the Three Point Championship in Minneapolis.

The event will air on ESPN2 at 10 p.m. on April 3. It will re-air on ESPN on Saturday, April 5 at 3 p.m.
