MASON, Ohio --- The individual and team tournament records were tied during the opening round of the Xavier Provident Invitational on Monday morning.

Mike Bielawski of Marquette fired a 63 to equal the tournament record that was set by Xavier's Miles Maillet last year.

Bowling Green is off the early lead thanks to a record-tying 276 from the Falcons in the opening round.

Xavier is tied for 10th with a team score of 290 through the first round. Brandon Graspointner, who is playing as an individual, was the top Musketeer in round one, carding a 1-under 70 to tie for 13th.

Round two is being played this afternoon and the final round will take place on Tuesday morning, with the leaders taking the course around 10 a.m.
