MASON, Ohio --- The pairings are set for the 2002 Xavier Provident Invitational Hosted by Cintas and the Kroger Company. The tournament will tee off with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Monday on The Gizzly Tournament Course at the Golf Center at Kings Island.

On Monday, the 18 participating teams will play two 18-hole rounds. Both rounds will feature the same pairings and will be shotgun starts.

Tuesday’s final round will start at 8 a.m. with the groupings being formed based on the scores from Monday’s play. The leaders will be in the final group that will tee off from the first hole at 10:06 a.m.

Xavier enters the tournament having shared a part of the title in its last outing, last weekend’s Wolverine Invitational. It was Xavier’s first tournament win since claiming the 2001 Atlantic 10 Championship.

Western Kentucky is the defending champion of the Xavier Provident Invitational.
