PITTSBURGH, Pa. --- The women's team earned a sixth place finish in the Duquesne Invitational out of nine teams with a score of 128 points on the muddy and difficult course.

The women's team was led by sophomore Molly Krumpelbeck who finished with a time of 19:35 to place 11th overall. Jenny Illig placed 15th with a time of 19:38. Jaime Wyckoff moved her way through the pack to finish with a time of 20:05 in placing 29th. Patty Green contributed for Xavier with a time of 20:28 to claim 34th place. Liz Sand concluded the scoring for Xavier when she finished with a time of 20:28 to finish in 39th place.

Next Saturday the men's team heads to Louisville, Ky. to compete in the Cardinal Classic. The women's team has next week off.
