"Besides the first game, we put ourselves in a position to win this match," said head coach Susan Steadman. "We had leads and chances throughout and we brokedown. I don't want to blame youth or make any excuses, but it is certainly a frustrating element and component of our team right now. This is a very tough loss to swallow, because this is a match we should of had. I don't think we played poorly, we made mistakes at wrong times, but looking at the stats there are some good numbers." The Cowgirls will be on the road next week as they face the University
of Utah, on Friday night, at 7:00 p.m., and Brigham Young, on Saturday
night, at 7:00 p.m.
