Competing along with Wyoming were Brigham Young, Washington State, Colorado State, Boise State, Air Force, Utah and Utah State. "We started the tournament out on the right foot," said Wyoming head coach Pam Davis. "We played very well to get things going. But as we advanced, we faced stiffer competition and had some tough matches. There were lots of talented players here and the level of play wasn't like anything we've seen this year so far. We are still learning about ourselves and discovering what combinations work the best for us. But overall it was a solid weekend for us. We had some good performances and our younger players are really coming along."
