BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Punt the Prime Rib!

Dirty Dan Harris Restaurant in Fairhaven will host a prime rib dinner, Mon., Oct. 16,to launch festivities for Western Washington University's 2006 Wells Fargo Battle in Seattle for the Cascade Cup presented by Comcast football game. More than 100 people will attend the event, including media representatives, the entire Viking football traveling team, coaching staff, selected university staff and numerous dignitaries and alumni.

The game will be held Sat., Oct. 21 (6 p.m.) at Qwest Field in Seattle with Western facing off with arch-rival Central Washington University. These two teams have been fighting it out for nearly a century.

"This is a big game for the team and the university. We appreciate the history behind the two teams, the persistence and hard work from the players and staff", said Dirty Dan's proprietor Steve Papadakis. "We try to give back to our community, so we're celebrating their efforts with a little inspiration and a pre-game party".

Dinner reservations are available after 6 p.m.
