2003 AT WTAMU
Saw action in 11 matches and 17 games... tallied 38 kills (2.24 kpg) with a .323 attack percentage... tallied five or more kills in three matches including career-high 11 in win over Southeastern Oklahoma on Sept. 27.

AT RICHLAND COLLEGE
Received NJCAA Division III All-American honors and Metro Athletic Conference MVP accolades.

HIGH SCHOOL
Steininger attended Naaman Forest High School in Garland, Texas, where she earned first-team All-District honors her junior and senior seasons after receiving second-team All-District honors as a sophomore.

LADY BUFF BITS
Her grandfather, Ermal Allen, was a coach for the Dallas Cowboys from 1962-1985.

"Last year was full of adjustments for Jill: new school, new coaches and teammates, higher level of play, changes in her game, etc. She handled everything really well and was our most productive outside hitter during the spring season.
