The West Texas A&M University equestrian team will hit the road this weekend for its competition at Stillwater, Okla., held at the OSU Animal Science Arena. The Lady Buffs will compete in two Western Shows beginning Saturday, Dec 6 at 9 a.m. and Sunday, Dec 7 at 8 a.m.

Other schools scheduled to compete at Stillwater are host Oklahoma State University, Texas A&M University, Texas Tech University, Sul Ross State University, North Central Texas College, Southern Nazarene University, Texas State University and Stephen F. Austin State University.

The last competition for the Lady Buffs was Nov. 22 & 23, at the Texas A&M University's Invitational at College Station, Texas where they took third and fifth place at a pair of English Hunter Shows. Sophomore Tessa Gamble led the Lady Buff riders with a first and second place showing in advanced walk-trot-canter.

This is the finial competition for WTAMU before the Christmas break. The Lady Buffs will be on hiatus until Feb. 7 & 8 when they head back to Stillwater, Okla. for two Hunter Classic shows.
