CANYON, Texas - For the second consecutive year, Ryan Palmer and the Ryan Palmer Foundation will make a significant endowment to benefit both the West Texas A&M men's and women's golf teams. The official presentation of the gift will be made on Thursday in a ceremony which will be held at 3:30 p.m. in the clubhouse at Tascosa Country Club in Amarillo.

The generous gift by Palmer will again help to ensure that the golf student-athletes at WTAMU will maintain and continue to be competitive in the Lone Star Conference and nation-wide. Both teams will resume practicing and tee off their 2007 spring schedule when the student return following the holiday break.

Following the announcement, Palmer and members of the WTAMU men's and women's golf teams will be available for comment.
