Personal: The 2007-08 season marks Harris' third year as a member of the Winston-Salem State University track and field team where she will compete in the shot put and discus as well as serve as one of the Lady Rams' tri-captains. A native of Bremerton, WA, she is a 2004 graduate of Olympic High School where she was a member of the track and field and basketball teams. A league and district champion in the shot put in high school, she also served as the Trojans' girls basketball team captain as well as being named to the honor roll and being named to the list of "Who's Who Among American High School Students". The daughter of Steve and Angela Harris, she is a Marketing and Management major at WSSU. Born in Bremerton, WA on March 2, 1986.
