Bowling Green, Ky. -- Former Western Kentucky University closer Matt Wilhite was recently promoted to the Arkansas Travelers, the Double-A affiliate of the Anaheim Angels.

The Western Kentucky University baseball staff will be hosting a fall instructional league for players who will be in grades 9-12 in the fall of 2003. The league will meet every Monday and Thursday night from 5:00 until 9:00 over a four-week stretch beginning in late August. Every participant will be involved in one game and receive instruction each night. Instruction will be provided by the coaches and players at Western Kentucky University.
