UWM Head Coach Kathy Litzau on the win "We definitely got better as the match went along. We certainly still have our moments when we don't play well, but over the last two weeks everyone has taken steps to get better." Litzau on the overall team effort for the win "Mel (Melissa Lange) has been playing very well and it really helps to give the hitters confidence," Litzau said. "We were able to get contributions from a lot of people. Melissa David played well, Cheryl has been very steady and I thought Rachel really stepped up tonight when she came off the bench." Litzau on playing at the U.S. Cellular Arena "It was awesome. It was nice to see so many people come out early to see us play and to expose some people to our volleyball team. We're very happy to be a part of this event and would love to do it again in the future."
