Travis Anderson is in his first season as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Milwaukee and will assist the Panthers this season in the areas of sprints and hurdles. Anderson was a three-time All-American at the University of Oregon, helping the Ducks' 4x400m relay qualifiy for the NCAA Championships in each of his four years outdoors and twice indoors. He was a part of the top five 4x400m relay times in school history indoors and 12 of the top 13 times outdoors. Anderson and his teammates also posted runner-up finishes at the West Regional three times, taking third once. Individually, he posted the fourth-best indoor 400m time in school history of 47.50. Anderson graduated from Oregon in 2007 with a degree in geography and psychology A native of Westminster, Colo., Anderson was a three-sport athlete at Westminster High School. He won a Colorado state title in the 400m (47.54) as a sophomore and, after suffering an injury as a junior, took second as a senior. He also ran with the state champion 4x400m relay. |
