UWM Tennis Falls To Cleveland State

MILWAUKEE - The UWM tennis team dropped a match Sunday to Cleveland State in Cleveland, Ohio, by a 5-2 margin.

UWM picked up a win in doubles, as the second flight team of Megan Brown and Cassie Kuranz won, 8-5. UWM got the doubles point with Cleveland State losing by default by not entering a doubles pair in the third flight.

The other Panther point came in sixth singles, as UWM won by default over the Vikings. Cleveland State swept all the singles matches that were contested.

The Panthers will return to action this weekend with another road trip. Saturday afternoon, UWM will face Youngstown State in Youngstonwn, Ohio, before heading to Chicago for a Sunday afternoon matchup with Chicago State.
