Women's Soccer Fundraiser Set For May 1

Panthers host Kentucky Derby-themed event

MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's soccer team will host "Run for the Roses with the Panthers" Saturday, May 1 at the Hefter Center.

The benefit, centered around the running of the Kentucky Derby, runs from 3-7 p.m. Tickets are $50, which includes dinner (provided by Saz's), beer, wine, soda, live jazz music, a raffle and a silent auction.

Highlighted raffle items include a Trek Mountain Bike, a DVD player and a Toro Super Blow Vacuum. Silent auction items include two tickets to a regular season Packer game at Lambeau Field, a luxury box for a Milwaukee Brewers game and a Milwaukee Arts Night package.

Bids can also be submitted via email to women's soccer coach Michael Moynihan via email at moynihan@uwm.edu. Email bids will be accepted until 5 p.m. April 30.
