- UWM is now 14-5-5 against Wright State all-time, remaining unbeaten in the last eight meetings (7-0-1). - Milwaukee is now unbeaten in its last 11 games (8-0-3), the third-longest unbeaten streak in school history, behind two 13-game stretches. This is the third-straight season UWM has had an unbeaten streak of at least 10 games. - The Panthers extended a number of lengthy and notable unbeaten streaks: * 30-straight league games (28-0-2), 48-1-3 since 2000 * 24-straight games in October (22-0-2), 47-8-6 since 2000 * 28-straight home league games (27-0-1) - UWM has now allowed a goal or less in its last 27 games dating back to last season. The Panthers have never had fewer than three games in which they did not allow more than one goal (2001, 2005, 2006). - Milwaukee went its 17th-straight game without a player receiving a yellow card. In fact, the team has received a league-low one caution this season and it was issued to the Panther bench. - The Panthers have scored at least two goals in their last five games, their longest multi-goal streak since a stretch of nine-straight in 2001. - Kane now holds or is tied for every school goalkeeping record on file except for saves, where she is fifth. - Kane finished her third season of Horizon League play, and has a 19-0-2 career league record with a 0.33 GAA, a .865 save percentage and 13 shutouts. - UWM has reached 10 shutouts in a season for the fifth time in school history and for the third-straight year. - Today was senior day, the final regular season home game for seniors Amanda Winn, Claire Pignet, Pam Shipway and Joanna Severson.
- The Panthers won for the sixth-straight senior day. - Shipway became the seventh player in school history to play in 80 career games. She is tied for fourth with 80 games played, five games back of the school record. Severson played in career game No. 78, tied for 10th most. If the Panthers make it to the championship game of the league tourney and play an NCAA Tournament game, Shipway has the opportunity to tie Taylor Powell's school record of 85 and Severson could move up to fourth (83). - Shipway tallied a point for the third-straight game (2g, 1a) and Megna scored a goal for the second-straight game. - Nicole Sperl took her 51st and 52nd shots on the season in this game, giving her the 11th-most in a season in school history. - Teegarden moved into a tie for eighth in career shots with her 116th. |
