Panthers Open Spring Season At Madison

UWM faces four local opponents

MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's soccer team willl open up its 2005 spring season with a nine-on-nine tournament Sunday (Feb. 27) in Green Bay. UWM will split its squad to try different lineups and combinations in the indoor tournament. Milwaukee will play six different matches in Sunday's event which will take place at the McClain Center on the University of Wisconsin campus. Below is a schedule of UWM's matches in the event:

11 a.m., UWM Gold vs. Minnesota Thunder

2 p.m., UWM Black vs. UW-Green Bay

4 p.m., UWM Black vs. Marquette

5 p.m., UWM Gold vs. Wisconsin

7 p.m., UWM Gold vs. Northwestern Black

8 p.m., UWM Black vs. Northwestern White

All games will consist of two, 25-minute halves with a five minute halftime. The field at the McClain Center is a FieldTurf surface and is 60x90 yards wide.
