MILWAUKEE --The UWM track and field will compete in the Western Illinois University Invitational on Saturday, April 14, with events beginning at 9 a.m. A small group of Panthers will travel over Easter weekend to Mamouth, Ill., where the meet will be held at Mamouth College.

Milwaukee is coming off last week's success at the Eastern Illinois Invite, with several Panthers winning their events. Sophomore Kristy Naef won the heptathlon and then earned MCC Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the week for her school-record breaking performance. Senior Jon Manke won the shot put, senior Nicole Wee won the 100m-dash, and sophomore Ken Hunt won the triple jump.
