Softball's Home-Opening Series Against UIC Cancelled

Games will not be made up; Phoenix will host Minnesota Wednesday

GREEN BAY, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay softball team's home-opening series against UIC slated for this weekend has been cancelled due to the impending poor weather conditions. The teams were slated to play a doubleheader Saturday and a single game Sunday. The contests will not be made up.

The Phoenix (9-10, 1-2 Horizon League) will try again at opening its home season when it takes on Big Ten foe Minnesota next Wednesday, April 11 in a doubleheader at Phoenix Field beginning at 1 p.m.
