MUNDELIEN, Ill. - The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men's tennis team stands in ninth place in the 11-team Wiscon Corporation Invitational, hosted by Loyola University Chicago at Pine Meadow Golf Course.
Travis Meyer led the Phoenix with three-over 147, which was aided by a one-under 71 in the second round of the day. Garrett Gosh was second-best for the Phoenix with a two-round total of 155, good for 28th overall.
Western Illinois leads the host Ramblers by eight strokes for first place in the tournament. Tim Streng of the Leathernecks fired a three-under 69 in his second round to lead the field with a two-round total of 142.
The 11 teams in the field return to action Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. for the final 18 holes of the event.
