Women's Tennis Falls In First Round of WCC's

The USF women's tennis team fell 5-1 to third seed LMU in the WCC Championships in San Diego. The Dons will be in the consolation bracket starting Saturday.

Singles 1. Carla Arguelles (LMU) def. Camille Pamart (USF), 6-2, 6-2 2. Serena Fermin (LMU) vs. Joana Macedo (USF), DNF 3. Kimi Kaloi (LMU) def. Anna Skogerboe (USF), 6-1, 6-0 4. Note: Doubles was played at USD West Tennis Courts, but rain caused a huge delay. The match was later moved to the Barnes Tennis Center, where the match resumed hours later. Loyola Marymount moves on to the semi-finals to face San Diego while San Francisco moves to the consolation bracket.
