Christine Sinclair had three goals and an assist - all in the first half - as #5 Portland beat San Francisco 6-0 Sunday in West Coast Conference women's soccer. The Pilots (13-2-0/2-1-0) outshot the Dons (8-7-1/1-4-0) 28-2, 18-0 in the first half, in posting their second straight 6-0 win over San Francisco. Portland led 5-0 at halftime. Portland had a 3-0 lead 7:59 into the match after Sinclairs second goal of the game. Betsy Barr opened the rout at 2:31 after Brooke OHanley made strong run on the right flank, crossed a short ball to Barr, who slotted a shot under the USF keeper. Four minutes later, Sinclair stole the ball from a Dons defender in the box, then went right far post across the goal for her first tally of the day. Less than 90 seconds later, Sinclair collected a poor corner kick clearance by USF, putting Portland up 3-0. Lauren Mussallems goal at 26:45 came after Sinclairs through-ball found Mussallem alone in front of the goal with only the keeper to beat. The sophomore striker nudged the ball under the keeper for a 4-0 Pilot lead. Nine minutes later, Sinclair completed the hat-trick, beating the keeper 1-v-1 after Kristen Moores through ball. In the past two games, Sinclair has four goals and three assists, and leads Portland with 13 goals and six assists. After multiple substitutions at halftime, the Pilots outshot USF 10-2, and collected a sixth goal at 64:38 when OHanleys through ball to Erin Misaki left her alone with the keeper. A juke to the right lost the keeper, and Misaki took one dribble to the left and pushed the ball into an open net.
