San Bruno - The West Coast Conference announced that USF Junior Matthew Berry from Cape Town, South Africa was named to the conference's second team, singles. Freshmen Korbinian Kramer from Friedberg, Germany and Thong Tu from Alameda, CA earned honorable mention honors for singles. Kramer was 5-3 in conference singles play and Tu was 6-3.
The three players were instrumental in powering the Dons to third place in the WCC Championships as they swept rival St. Mary's in singles in the first round. The Dons led St. Mary's in their regular season series 2-1. The team concluded 2006 with a record of 10-14, 4-6 WCC.
