Brandon Henley volleyed in a Nate Jaqua cross with 22 minutes left in regulation to give the visiting Portland Pilots (9-4-1, 3-1-1 WCC) a 2-1 West Coast Conference victory over USF Friday night at Negoesco Stadium. The Dons took an early 1-0 lead when Anthony Medina notched his seventh goal of the year by knocking in a penalty kick at the 26:11 mark after a Portland hand ball foul. The Pilots got a lucky bounce to equalize, when a 30-yard blast by Darrin Domingo deflected off a USF defender into the net at 31:16. USF had a chance to go ahead but Robbie Adams shot from in front of the goal from seven yards sailed over the crossbar. The Pilots gamewinner was a cross from the right wing by Nate Jaqua that Henley blasted into the top of the net from short range.
