This story could begin inside a law firm in San Francisco, on a soccer pitch in Brazil, at one of the most gorgeous college campuses in the country (or rather on a bus or train heading away from it), but it certainly does not begin on a golf course, because that is where it ends.

Someway, somehow, this story ends on a golf course in the small town of Moraga, Calif., where the men's golf team from little St. Mary's College - aka Who is St. Mary's College? - went to practice April 8, as the 41st (Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings) best college golf team in the country.
