The University of San Diego Women's Cross Country team placed fifth out of eight teams at the West Coast Conference Championships this past weekend at Crystal Springs Course in Belmont Park, CA. Senior Tiffanie Marley paced the Toreros as she cruised into a fourth place finish with a time of 18:17 in the 5K race. USD senior Cassandra Chavez finished just one second off of Marley's time and came in fifth place at 18:18.

Portland came in first in the team competition and was paced by freshman Amie Dahnke, who was the top individual runner with a time of 17:40.
