Walker comes to Western Carolina after having spent the last year as a first year Assistant Soccer Coach at Queens University of Charlotte.

At Queens she helped lead the 2006 Team to its first CVAC Conference Championship since 1995 with an overall record of 12-5. The Royals were ranked as high as 5th in the south east Region. The 2006 team also received four All-Conference player recognitions and one All- Region 1st team player.

Walker, a Pfeiffer graduate in Business Administration, was a four-year starter and letter winner on the women's soccer team. In 2000, she helped lead the Falcons to a 10-1 CVAC finish and a first place finish in the league. Over the coarse of her 4 years the Falcons went 41-30-2 overall and 28-12-1 in the CVAC. In 2000, she was named to the CVAC All-Tournament Team. She was the team captain and a representative of SAAC her senior year.

Walker will be the Strength and Conditioning coach for the soccer team.
