Jonesborough, Tenn. -
Western Carolina carded a 311 on day two for a two-round total of 618 to remain in 11th place at the 2004 Southern Conference Men's Golf Championships, held at The Ridges Golf and Country Club. However, WCU freshman Tripp Morrow's two-over 74 on day two gives him a total of 149 to move the Forest City, N.C., native up 10 spots to 12th.
Morrow is only one shot of 10 th place. If he were to finish among the top 10, he would be just the 12th Catamount to accomplish the feat and the first since Greg Lewis tied for fourth in 2002.
