Catamount Golf In 8th After 36 Holes; 18 Holes Left to Play

Spartanburg, S.C. - On a windy day in Spartanburg, the Western Carolina men's golf team put three individuals in the top 20 and stand in eighth place after 36 holes at the Wofford Invitational, played at the Carolina Country Club. Sophomore Matt Cook is tied for fourth, shooting a one-over par 142 (72-73) and sitting three strokes off the lead. Blake Wray and Matt Flueckiger are each tied for 17th with a two-round total of 151. Tripp Morrow and Brian Hogan rounded out WCU's scoring. The teams will play the final 18 holes in Tuesday.
