"I would like to thank all the great Catamount fans and alumni that gave tremendous support to our football team. Even through very difficult times, so many stayed true to our players, staff and to me.
I also deeply appreciate the personal support that my family and I received through my battle with cancer; from the Chancellor, to the AD, Board of Trustees and especially the Catamount family. It will always be treasured in our hearts.
We apologize that we didn't get it turned around on the field and bring home a Southern Conference championship. I know that the future will be great and a SoCon title will happen. We have a great freshman class and a rising senior class that will do a tremendous job in leading this program next year.
As a Catamount, I look forward to great things happening."
