North Charleston, S.C. - Following the 2007 Southern Conference Men's Basketball Championship game, Western Carolina freshman Nick Aldridge was named to the SoCon All-Tournament team as voted upon by members of the media.

Aldridge, who was selected to the All-SoCon team by both the league's head coaches and media earlier in the week, averaged 22 points in two games in tournament play including a game-high 24 against second-seeded Appalachian State. The South Webster, Ohio, native averaged six rebounds each game while posting three steals and three assists.

Aldridge finished the season having scored in double-figures in 27 of the 30 games in which he played, closing the year with 20-consecutive, double-digit outings and twice tallying 30-points in a game.
