Cullowhee, N.C. - Over 30 individuals attended Tuesday's Western Carolina Coaches' Luncheon held in the first floor hospitality room of the Ramsey Center. Featured speakers today were women's basketball Director of Basketball Operations, Scott Moore, men's basketball senior Kyle Greathouse, and men's head coach, Larry Hunter.

Moore, who was filling in for Lady Catamount skipper Kellie Harper who was on the road recruiting, discussed WCU's back-to-back road wins at Chattanooga and most recently at Georgia Southern. He also showed clips from the Western's overtime win at Chattanooga, highlighting the come-from-behind effort last Saturday afternoon.

Greathouse, who currently ranks third on WCU's all-time 3-pointers made list and is less than 20 assists away from moving onto the top 10 in that category, stopped by the luncheon to provide a players prospective on the on-going season. The Lancaster, Ohio, native, of whom Hunter spoke extremely high of, mentioned that he is on track to graduate this semester with a degree in marketing.

Hunter spoke about the recent winning streak and the loss at Appalachian State, showing highlights from the game. The great basketball mind again broke down the game film with those in attendance, pointing out the intricacies of his offense and emphasizing areas where his team needs to - and is - improving.

Each of the three fielded questions from the audience and again stressed their appreciation for the continued support for the community and local fan base for both the luncheons and at the games.

Western will host weekly coaches' luncheons every Tuesday morning through February 20. The buffet-style lunch will begin at 11:45 am each and last until approximately 1:00 pm. There is an open invitation to everyone in the surrounding communities, but an RSVP is requested by the Friday prior to the next event to allow proper preparations to be made. The cost of the luncheon is just $5.00 per person.
