Western's Baseball Game at Tennessee Tech Postponed Until Thursday (May 2)

May 1, 2002

Cullowhee, N.C. - Today's Western Carolina baseball game at Tennessee Tech has been postponed until Thursday (May 2) due to inclement weather. Thursday's game will still be played in Cookeville, Tenn., and first pitch is set for 4:00 pm (CT).

Western Carolina will return to Southern Conference action with a three-game series with VMI this weekend at Childress Field/Hennon Stadium. The Catamounts and Keydets will play a doubleheader on Saturday starting at Noon and a single game on Sunday at 1:00 pm.

The VMI series will be the last SoCon home series for Western Carolina. The Department of Athletics will recognize the Catamount senior baseball players on Sunday prior to the first pitch. Western will host its final home game on May 15 versus Clemson, the nation's top-ranked team.
