JUNIOR (2006-07): Indoor - Finished fifth in the heptathlon at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships with 5003 points (2/24/07, Seattle)...mark is fourth-best in school records...top team long jumper with PR of 7.01m/23-0i at MPSF heptathlon...Outdoor - Reached a decathlon PR and NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark with 6,926 points for fourth place at the Cal Multi-Meet (3/29/07, Berkeley)...finished third in the decathlon at Pac-10 Championships with PR and improved NCAA PQ 7109 points (5/6/07, Stanford)...also placed fourth in the long jump with a best leap of 7.31m/23-11 3/4w...leaped NCAA Regional qualifying long jump in winning event at Pelluer Invite of 7.37m/24-2 1/4w (4/6/07, Cheney)...finished fourth in long jump at NCAA West Regional with PR distance of 7.52m/24-8 1/4 (5/26/07, Eugene)...placed 22nd in the long jump at the NCAA Championships with best effort of 7.20m/23-7 1/2w (6/9/07, Sacramento).

Attended Highline Community College in Des Moines, Wash...decathlete for coach Robert Yates...team captain 2004-05...freshman season (2004) won NWAACC long jump with PR of 24-3...scored 29 points as HCC won league championship...named team MVP...sophomore year (2005) broke HCC indoor heptathlon record...set HCC long jump record of 24-7 1/2...won NWAACC decathlon...set league record for decathlon shot put at 45-2...scored 50 points as HCC repeated as team champs...named Field Athlete of the Year.
