WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The #32 ranked Wake Forest women's tennis team dropped its second straight Atlantic Coast Conference match to #21 Clemson, 4-3, Sunday afternoon in Leighton Tennis Stadium. With the loss, the Deacs drop to 5-6 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

Senior Danielle Schwartz picked up victories in both singles and doubles, giving her a sweep of opponents this weekend. Against Georgia Tech on Saturday, the Livingston, N.J. native earned a victory in the sixth position in singles and third spot in doubles, while against Clemson, she was able to squeeze a victory from Richele LeSaldo, 6-0, 7-6(4) in singles. In doubles against the Tigers, she earned the Deacs only win by an 8-6 margin over Carol Salge and Ioana Paun in doubles action.

Dropping the top three singles matches, Wake was able to earn points in the fourth, fifth and sixth positions, including the only three set match of the afternoon from freshman Jenna Loeb.
