WINSTON-SALEM. N.C. - Sophomore Elizabeth Remy has been named the ACC Women's Soccer Player of the Week, after scoring the game-winning goal for the Demon Deacons during the first overtime period against #3 Virginia. Overall, Wake Forest has a 7-3-1 record, including a victory over then-ranked #21 Princeton. The Deacs will continue against conference opponents this weekend as they travel to Florida State on Friday, Oct. 8. Kickoff in Tallahassee will be at 7 p.m.
